Hani Kalouti founded HBK Investments Advisory SA in 1996. Prior to founding HBK Hani spent 14 years with Citibank. He joined Citibank in New York in 1982 in the Treasury division. In 1985 he joined the Citicorp Investment Bank in Zurich where he became Head of Securities Trading and Sales. He was responsible for trading the Bank’s proprietary book of CHF 500 million and its Market-Making activities in Equity and Equity Linked securities, as well as the bank’s arbitrage activities. Hani later joined Citibank’s Swiss Private Bank in 1989 as Head of Non-Discretionary Investment Advisory. In 1992 he became the Chief Investment Officer for the Geneva Private Bank responsible for Discretionary and Advisory Portfolio Management. In 1996 Hani left Citibank to set up HBK Investments Advisory SA.
Hani holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and an MBA in Finance from Syracuse University - New York.
